Marlene and Alan took a Panama Canal cruise, with photo stops at several ports of call along the way.

We let the lovely little girl in the last two photos
keep the birdhouse. It was taken in Panama City, Panama while they were
celebrating Flag Day, a national holiday there. It was a day-long celebration
of marching bands, and many of the locals dressed in costume. We gave the
girl’s parents a copy of your blog write-up, with a few pictures from the
Picasa web site. We knew that would help with communication and they would
understand what we were trying to do.
